What’s the difference between the W-A 3.5V rechargeable NiCad batteries w/ Catalog #’s 72200 and 72300?
3.5V Rechargeable Battery - 72300Shop All
I have two “old school” rechargeable W-A diagnostic handles that plug into the wall to recharge (#71050), and two W-A diagnostic handles that recharge through the base when sitting in the #71110 desktop charger base. All 4 of these handles have “dead” #72200 3.5V NiCad batteries inside of them. I noticed that your website have two different catalog # batteries (72200 and 72300) with the same specs, and with what looks like identical appearance (by the photos you posted), so was wondering what’s the difference between them (if anything)?
The 72200 and 72300 batteries are compatible with different handles. The 72200 battery works with Nickel-Cadium handles that use a desk charger (PN: 60835, 71000, 71670). The 72300 battery works with power handles that plug into the wall (PN: 71000-A, 71000-C, 23300, 71050, 23300)
