The easiest way to determine which battery you need for your otoscope power handle is by removing the battery and reading the part number.
If your power handle is black with a silver ring, then it is likely the 3.5 V Lithium Rechargeable Handle which uses the 3.6 V Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery.
If your power handle is the silver 3.5 V Nickel-Cadium Handle, then you can xxxx the bottom of the handle off and remove the battery. The 3.5 V Nickel-Cadium Handle can use either the 72200, 72300 or C-Cell batteries depending on the model you have. The 72200 battery is compatible with the 60835, 71000, and 71670 (These handles use the universal desk charger). The 72300 battery is compatible with the 71000-A, 71000-C, 23300, 71050, and 23300.
